We already knew that Pooky Amsterdam was one of the best SL machinima makers out there (she did the video for a recent client project), but she's surpassed herself with Episode 2 of the Time Travelers web series she's making. The male facial close-ups and lip-sync are still not quite there, but otherwise this is probably the closest to "real video" I've seen in SL. When the kids were younger I used to love the Max Steel animated series, and this is almost at that level of quality - and just from SL and I'm guessing a little bit of post-production. The props and locations are stunning, nothing that shouts "this is SL", and the whole thing must have taken Pooky and her team ages to put together - but I bet that's ages in SL terms not in RL video terms. Great work Pooky - a real showcase for SL/OS as a video production platform!
