This is a quick demonstration of how you can seemlessly join different services that offer good web APIs. Nabastag offers a simple REST based API to send messages to th rabbit. The BBC TV API offers a simpl REST/XML API to provide the TV listings. All we had to do was write a bit of glue in the middle.
The application isn't necessarily robust, or feature rich, but it shows how you can quickly pull an application together like this ( 1 hour, including learning the Nabatag API ).
If you haven't got a Nabaztag of your own you'll just have to look at the video.
The full app will let you choose channels, days and times, but we've kept this form simple for now, and default to today and this evening.
