Voice Enabled eLearning

We think that chatbots have considerable potential in e-learning applications. They can act as a guide and virtual tutor to a course, they can run tests and quizes, and just make learning fun.

We have found that children in particular really enjoy interacting with chatbots, so we see some great opportunities in school SATS and GCSE level material.

Other potential areas are in adult education - especially for those who are new to computers, and in english language teaching in TEFL, ESOL and TESL type environments.

Leading e-learning consultants Bersin & Associates recently reported that "character-based simulations are emerging as a key tool and approach to high impact e-learning." They also report that:

"When learners are interested and engaged they learn and retain more. One of the biggest flaws in many online programs is their inability to engage the learner. Research has proven that character-based simulations drive measurably higher rates of completion, learning, retention, and overall job impact".
