We offer a wide range of free resources to help you get the most out of our products, and to understand the technology, principles and evidence related to them.
The Trainingscapes (& Fieldscapes) Wiki gives you all the information you need to learn how to use Trainingscapes, and how to create great 3D and VR immersive exercises and experiences for your employees, customers and students.
We maintain a comprehensive set of video tutorials, exercise walk-throughs and examples on You Tube.
We have a number of white papers on 3D immersive learning, chatbots, 3D & VR visual analytics, virtual reality, and other topics. You can download all of them for free - but please subscribe our newsletter to be kept informed of new white papers and other developments, and contact us if you've got any questions on them.
We frequently present at commercial, academic and research events on immersive 3D/VR learning, chatbots, AI and other topics. You can find many of our presentations over on Slideshare.
We aim to run a Trainingscapes webinar every month, either as a general introduction or focussing on authoring and content creation. Check out our EventBrite page for a list of all our forthcoming webinars, or contact us if you don't see one listed.
BOOKS AND PAPERS
Daden regularly contribute to books and papers about the use of immersive environments in training and education, chatbots, AI and virtual worlds:
David's book on Virtual Humans, written with Prof. Maggi Savin-Baden, a frequent partner on our projects, was published by Taylor & Francis/CRC Press in February 2019. You can read more about it at www.virtualhumans.ai.
David also contributed a chapter to Maggi's sequel on Digital Afterlife - again see www.virtualhumans.ai for details.
David also has a chapter on the use of immersive environments in museum, library and gallery design in a the book Museum Thresholds published by Routledge
Check out David's other papers on VR and AI in training and education on ResearchGate.
Daden's Adventures in Second Life
A fond and highly visual look back at the wide range of projects (mostly training related) we did for commercial clients and others in the Second Life virtual world. Much of our learning there is reflected in our current work - and there are also some great visual (and other) ideas that could be applied to new projects. Read for free online.
