6 - 7 Oct 08: Virtual Worlds Forum Europe

Daden will be attending the VWF Europe event in London, 6 - 7 October.

11 - 12 Sep 08: Serious Virtual Worlds

Daden will be attending, and hopefully speaking, and no doubt helping out, at Serious Virtual Worlds at Coventry Technocentre 11 - 12 Sep 08. SVW is the Serious Games Institute annual conference and had a good turn-out last year.

Daden MD is speaking at the Communicators in Business annual conference in Brighton in May 2008. Ironically the last time David spoke to this group (who primarily represent internal comms people in big companies) was in about 1997 when he was talking about these new fangled things called Intranets!

Daden MD David Burden is speaking at this event in Coventry, where he'll be talking about Daden's work on the PREVIEW project.

An opportunity to identify innovative partnership opportunities

Hear senior speakers from both "health" and "serious games".
"The health & social care demands cannot be met..."

* The very serious issues in health and social care are well-known. They relate to an ageing population and to a large minority of disadvantaged and hard-to-reach communities of people.
* The biggest hurdle is also known:"We can't afford it"

"Can we reduce the cost using serious games..?"

This is a major chance to see the opportunities for the use of serious games technology to help answer the "Can't afford it" problem by reducing the cost and increasing "engagement" in both training and service delivery.
