Great to have a whol event dedicated to enterprise use of virtual worlds. Gartner gave us the background to their "80% of active Internet users will have a second life by 2012" quote, but the star turn was Diageo talking about their work in using Second Life to develop an "intraworld" for internal use - mainly to reduce the time and cost of organising and attending virtual meeting. Their view was if they can use this technology to halve the number of RL meetings then it will easily pay for itself.
