Potential of Chatbots on Discovery Channel

A good interview with Richard Wallace, creator of the ALICE chabot, on the Discovery channel. ALICE won Bronze in this Years Loebner, maning she beat the other chatbots but no judge mistook her for a human. Our chatbots use elements of the AIML approach adopted by ALICE, but also add keyword matching and external interfaces for greater flexibility. ALICE and Doctor Wallace admit that ALICE can't tell you the news or weather - our chatbots can.
