We've recently upgraded the user memory module so that it now makes use of a persistent cookie on a user's PC. This is used to store things like the user's name, loation, job etc, as well as dates of first and last visit, and number of visits. The chatbot can read this cookie during the conversation to greet the user by name, avoid asking questions that it already knows, and to feed information into the conversation.
